    Mid Iowa Outdoors provides you with an opportunity to enjoy some of the great wonders of the outdoors.  I offer trips to the most productive waters in Iowa and across the nation.  Fish for Walleye on Lake Rathbun in our home state of Iowa.  Seek out Giant Blues on Pickwick Lake Tennessee. Hunt for prehistoric Sturgeon in the Rainy River on the Canadian border. Run the river in just a foot of water in search of lunker Catfish, Walleye and Bass or enjoy taking a wack at some fast flying duck.  

    I have over 25 years of fishing experience.  8 years of deep sea fishing experience when I lived abroad.  4 years of professional competitive fishing experience in the United States and have been guiding since 2004.  As a Pro Staff for Ranger Boats, and many other well know companies, my goal is to ensure you that you will be outfitted with the best equipment for your fishing or hunting trip.

    Mid Iowa Outdoors has two guide boats. A Ranger Reata 1850 with a 175 Merc and a 9.9 Pro Kicker fully rigged for big water (find pictures of that boat in the Gallery).  This is a Fishisher Beavertail duck boat outfitted with a Yamaha 40/30 Jet Drive for fishing/hunting skinny water.

We are now booking for 2009-2010.
